Mojito Iced Tea will become you new favorite summertime drink – freshly brewed iced tea kissed with sugar and flavored with fresh mint and lime juice.
I think if I had to choose my favorite beverage it would be iced tea. And I think I might be in the minority in that I prefer my iced tea to be UN-sweet. So I brew my own at home a lot. Especially during the summer.

For a change I decided to combine the flavors of a classic Mojito cocktail with my favorite brewed iced tea from Lipton. I love the flavors of fresh mint and lime. It’s a great welcome for warmer weather. But I don’t want to be sipping rum all day long. I’ll leave the day drinking to Captain Jack Sparrow.
If you like your tea sweet like the South this recipe probably won’t be sweet enough for you. In that case experiment and add an extra 1/4 cup of sugar. I personally love the just barely sweet tea because it really lets the flavor of the fresh mint and lime shine through.
