Greek Feta Dip is one simple dip to serve two ways! Sweet with honey or savory with lemon and olives. This is a beautiful appetizer for entertaining.
I hadn’t made a new appetizer in a while. I was searching for ideas and came across a version of Greek Feta Dip. What I found was a jumping off point for my recipe. Cream cheese, Feta cheese and Greek yogurt are whipped together, then divided. One portion is made sweet and the other savory. Served together on a platter with both soft Naan dippers and crunchy pita chips it is an impressive offering. So easy to make and absolutely delicious. Once you try it, tell me which version you prefer!

Ingredients for Greek Feta Dip
- Cream Cheese – 8 ounce block, no need to soften first
- Feta Cheese – 8 ounce block in brine
- Greek Yogurt – use full fat if you can find it for more flavor and a creamier texture
- Salt
- Lemon Juice
- Fresh Oregano
- Kalamata Olives
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Honey
- Pomegranate Seeds – I like buying this brand because the work is already done for me and the seeds are ready to use. If you prefer to use the seeds from a whole pomegranate, here’s a tutorial for how to remove the seeds.
- Naan Dippers
- Pita Chips
How to make Greek Feta Dip
With a hand or stand mixer, whip together the cream cheese, feta cheese (drained of the brine) and Greek yogurt. Divide this mixture into two separate bowls.
To make the sweet version of this dip, add honey and red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined. Place the dip in a serving bowl. Top it with pomegranate seeds and a drizzle of honey to serve. I like the soft Naan dippers the best with the sweet dip.
To make the savory version of this dip, add lemon juice, chopped fresh oregano and salt to the cheese mixture. Stir until well combined. Place the dip in a serving bowl. Top it with chopped Kalamata olives to serve. I like the crunchy pita chips the best with the savory dip.
Kitchen Tips
- Garnish the platter with artisan lettuce for serving at a party.
- Make the basic dip up to two days in advance and store it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. When ready to serve, divide and mix in the sweet and savory additions.
- I used my KitchenAid stand mixer with the whip attachment to combine the cream cheese, Feta cheese and Greek yogurt.
