The air fryer works its magic again. These air fryer hot dogs are perfection – sizzling and juicy, ready for your favorite toppings.
The constant hot air circulating in the small space of an air fryer works magic on meat. I used to think this method – air frying – would yield overly cooked and dry meat. But the opposite is true. A nice sear happens on the outside of your choice of protein. But the inside – whether it be pork, ground beef, chicken, seafood or in this case hot dogs – remains tender, juicy and delicious. Air Fryer Hot Dogs are the quickest dinner you could make on a busy school night. Or once baseball season starts, air fry some hot dogs to watch the game at home.

How to Air Fry Hot Dogs
I like using all beef hot dogs. I just think they taste the best. Poke the hot dogs several times with a fork and then add them to the air fryer basket. Cook at 375 degrees F for about 7 minutes. They’ll be starting to brown and some of the grease will have released and drained off.
It’s optional to lightly toast your hot dog buns too. Butter the insides of the hot dog buns and place the hot dogs inside. Put the buns and hotdog back in the basket of the air fryer and fry at 350 degrees F for 1 minutes. It melts the butter and lightly toasts them. Yum!
